Refreshing Things

Hello!

Today seems to be a good day.

So far I have moved 4 kids to the barn. Graduation day we call it. Sometimes we have bottle kids in the house. Kids nearly frozen from very cold weather births, some too weak to nurse on their dams. Always a wonderful day to see the kids healthy, strong, moving into their warm new barn suite. A refreshing site!

My husband is heading to a job interview today. Also refreshing. After a year of unemployment, and oodles of job applications and resumes, he has received 2 calls for interviews this week alone. If you believe in prayer or positive thinking, we can use it!

If I weren't so tired, and I might do it anyhow, I might work on more soap today. Refreshing soap like the peppermint goat milk soap pictured in this post. I love that soap! I had a customer that had problems with infected skin, and swore the soap helped her to heal, and her doctor sided with the soap. Now, I cannot tell you that my soap is medicinal, but the use of essential oils goes back a long way!

What is most refreshing today is the bright sunshine, the spring-like strong breezes, and to see the kids outside having the ball of their life!

I hope you are having a good day too!

Wish I were there! I could use some of that newborn happiness. Watching them bouncing around and playing, does a heart good.

I can see the kids froliking in my imagination! How sweet!

To day I walked for an hour outdoors in the warm sun and I just felt so happy. Nothing like Spring to adjust your attitude. It was a great walk and I felt so blessed to be able to enjoy warm weather when so many of my friends are still digging out from snow. Please know I'm thinking of you and sending warm weather vibes your way!

PS: Way to go Bob! Go get 'em!

It is very warm here too Amy, very overcast now, but still so nice to be outside.

Bob's interview went well. They have 9 more to sift through, then they said likely a second interview next week. I hope, I hope!

Alix, you are doing so very well. I hope your determination spills over onto me. :)

I'm so glad you commented on my blog. . .I have no idea who you are or how you found my blog.. . .I just started this whole blog thing and I'm struggling a bit!!! However. . .I couldn't be happier because I so badly want to have goats and it just isn't something we can do right now. . .so now, I can visit your blog and get my fix!!!!! I almost did it last spring when we rescued a Pyr that desperately needed some goats to watch over to get him motivated to live. . .but it just wasn't feasible at the time. . .we rehabbed the Pyr and got him placed on a working and loving farm where he is most happy !!! I'll keep checking out your blog and looking for those sweet baby faces that I long for!!!!!

Baby goats are just the cutest! My last post was about our lambs frolicking in the spring sunshine. Partaking in their joy is such good medicine for our souls. I am glad I stopped by. Thanks for the uplifting thoughts!

Yes, I will pray for your husband...let us know when he gets his job.

It is such a wonder and privilege to watch the young goats and know your care and love contributes to their well-being, isn't it? That is the kind of entertainment I don't get tired of and it is seasonal only....so take in the view and memories while you can...

The soap is pretty. You say the lady who uses it says it helped?I am interested. What soaps do you recommend for seriously dry, itchy skin?
